Possibly a total of 4 ARMATUS.

100% sure on 2. Rays are prime suspects in the other 2 deaths.

Funny this is...When I first started keeping rays, everyone told me they needed a singlespecies tank. However, this was for the safety of the ray NOT other fish. Whow would have thought Potomotogoran were really more closely related to snakeheads!

I lost a Armatus to my Ray. That was the only Tank Mate he killed off, unfortunately he was the most exspenisve. I still havent got over it. I have the armatus caracas in my freezer to remind me.

Geez, you guys are making me nervous! Again, how big were these rays? Did they get aggressive after a certain size?

My Tiger rays are ranging from 8" - 18" and the newly arrived Plecos were only 3". Tigers seem to be passive during day time but really aggresive at night. They chase, vacuum and even squirt water into the Plecos and live shrimps hiding place.

Rays are smart hunter.
