motoro max size

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I find rays easy to keep. Just set up a good filtration because rays likes to poo. You will also need big tanks for a motoro, maybe at least 200 gal.
mortos need way bigger that a 200 gallon and are easy to care for if have the proper tank filtration and food

its easy to work out if you can keep a adult motoro in your tank

go outside and take a look at the wheels on your car with the tyre and if you think that will fit in your tank easy with space to turn around then your tank wil;l be fine

if not forget get it
I have a smart car :)

I know you're not the grave digger
I'm doing my best to dig up old threads haha! I know they're old as hell but I've only been in the hobby for about a year. I dug up this thread recently because rescued a female motoro that was in a 75 gallon tank with a little hang on back filter. She's two years old and around 13" disc diameter. She's currently in my 6x30x30 tank and I'm going to upgrade to a 10x4 in January

That's a good plan. You sound like a responsible fishkeeper with a plan

I don't think a lot of people realize how big the majority of FW rays get. When you are reading words in a screen a 24-30" seems big, it is not until you see in the flesh a ray of this size that you appreciate the sheer mass and power of the animal. huge difference in mass from 14-16" and 24".
