what happened?

Instead of having a float valve installed to make up for evaporation i just had a 1/4" water line, i would turn it on when i fed and off when i was done. Well, i forgot to turn it off, the pond overflowed and cold water ran into the pond for a whole day. They either died from the cold owater or from chloramine poisoning, wither way it sucked. Lost my 9" dat too....

Beautiful looking rays - shame they died. Are you sure they were just motoros? They look a lot like the motoro-henlei hybrids that Jon Rare was selling a few years back.

I did get them from Jon, he called them Motor Hybrids and wasnt sure what they were crossed with.
