I recently added a new female motoro(wild) with my smaller male(captive) and ever since hes been acting weird. i treated the female with prazi pro for a week before added her into the tank. my male motoro, is showing weird signs like cloudy eyes and white stringy poop.he also been swimming at the top alot, near the powerhead, and trying to poke his eyes of out the water, like sometings bothering him in the water! im worried, i talked to brad on the phone and he told me to check the water parameters immediately and i did, everything checked out okay. i could not find a test for salinity? but i guess this could be a major problem? any help would be appreciated these are my first rays and i would hate to lose them!:(

what have you been feeding?

water change schedule? tank size?

125 gallon, water change atleast once if not twice a week, and i feed mainly red wigglers and carnivore sinking pellets. i tried market shrimp since that what i feed my caribas, but they wont take to it, even if i chop it up.

what is ur nitrate at?

nitrate is not high.. a waterchange wouldn't be a bad idea..... also what's the temp.... maybe add a lil stalt...

i just use tap water conditioner? i dont think i really even have to, i have well water that i mix with r/o ? i dont think there is chlorine in well water?

I heard once before.... please correct me if im wrong... RO water can actually cause ph swings... its better just to keep a constant ph, rays dont react well to ph swings
