My female Motoro has some sort of a raw area on her skin. Any idea of what this can be? She hasn't stopped feeding and doesn't appear to be stressed, but just want to make sure there is no issues forthcoming.ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1384976241.192716.jpg

What's her diet? Water parameters? Tankmates? Decor? Need a lot more info.. does it look like an abrasion, or happening from the inside?

My motoro looked like this right after suffering heater burn. A couple days later the affected area looked like a flap of skin and came off. I did 50% water changes daily, added aquarium salt, used Melafix, and upped the temp to 86 degrees. It looked really bad for about 3 days and then healed up nicely with just a little scar. Obviously I don't know for sure if yours is the same issue, but this worked well for me. I hope everything works out.

My heaters are in the sump so I that's not the issue. I almost wonder if the other ray didn't bite it, or maybe the royal pleco sucked on it...

Doesn't look quite right for a ray bite. I'd remove the pleco and keep an eye on her. Rays are very resilient. Nice looking motoro.
