Motoro stingray

Hello,

How large do motoro sting rays get in the home aquaria...Trying to decide if my aquarium is a life aquarium for him or a grow out tank...Online i see mixed answers about their care , growth rate and size ... Love these beasts and currently have him with 5 altifrons , flag tail , saddle and ornate bichir and a 14-16 inch asian aro(chilli red)..Awaiting your replies

P.S general info from experienced stingray keepers is greatly appreciated

I think that tank will be a home for your ray for quite some time and possibly life. Each ray's size varies and it's hard to say exactly how big yours will get, but I believe a good rule of thumb would be 24" for your motoro. That could take years to achieve. There are larger specimens out there though. My $.02!

It possibly it could be a hybrid I had a batch of hybrid pups 2 out of the 6 look like motoros. Mom was a SS motoro dad was SS MOTORO x leo/pearl
