Motoro stingray

If mine gets that big then i would have a problem...But i can always build a pond for him and a few other dream fish of mine( red tail catfish , gar , ....)....Somehwere around 2017 i guess probably be 20ft by 20ft by 8 ft so unless he gets that big before 2017 i wouldnt have a problem..I would rather not put the sting ray with the monster fish thats why i hopeing it could stay for life in the aquarium
 
I wouldnt buy a normal motoro ray.
They get very big, they dont look very nice, when they get to big its very hard to sell them.
There are many rays out there that are fitting better in a home tank.
 
Love your tank, is this the one you had made, large fake rock structure that you then took out?

Thinking ahead, if your Motoro gets too large for your tank you could always approach the aquarium in the Dubai mall and donate it to them, I know they have a freshwater ray exhibit in there.

Oh cool you know about the ray exhibit... It was sold as a hybrid and was told they get up to 24" long....And yeah it was the same tank with the rocks...Had to take out a lot of driftwood for the ray and start changing water from once a week to twice a week (25%)...Hes very aggressive when he eats and roams the tank alot which is a good sign i think

Tank looks spotlessly clean. All the fish will appreciate the extra water changes you're doing.

I'd keep your eye on the flag tail, they have a bit of a reputation for sucking on rays sometimes
