Sorry but I have seen a couple of motoro's grow larger than 24 inch, so that would make a 3 feet wide tank not large enough to keep these animals.

I agree. I've had motoros into the 36" plus width. You'll want something pretty wide for them.

wow i feel reaaly stupid right about now. i re read the whole thing and didn't catch that lol! i ment disk diameter. wow..... thats a really good laugh right there.
