Mottled Jack Dempsey?

Its probably a flowerhorn, most probably a low grade which is "fading",usually into a pinkish color. Here is my flowerhorn after fading

Notice the tip of the fins where it has not finish fading yet


And this is my other flowerhorn which started the "fading" Process about a week ago.

I thought about that. It is just more JD shapes. Literally the fish has the body of a JD and the color of a RD.
 
How big were they when they started fading?

The fully faded one started at 6 inches and the one that is fading started early at 4 inches.

When you look at the last picture, you can def. see some blood parrot in there.

I am no expert by any means but I can def. see the RD/midas and maybe some BP. It sure does look like it has some JD shap to it though. You have a great looking "mutt" none the less.
 
Grow it out and see if it keeps that form/shape. I think its just a rd/midas hybrid that ironically has an elongated body. I had some convicts 10+ year ago that was elongated like JD's,
