Ya! My mourning gecko finally laid a pair of eggs. Has anyone else ever bred these. I have no idea how to incubate them or anything. The guy who sold me it said to just wait and they will hatch in the cage.

do not keep them in the cage, your gecko could walk over them and disturb them. Take them out and keep them in a small tupperware container with holes pokes in it. You can put a bit of vermiculite in it as substrate or you can use Repashy's incubation substrate or Hatch Right substrate. Keep them oriented the same way so that you do not roll or invert the eggs- this could cause them to die. Good luck!

I think that mourning gecko eggs get stuck to whatever they're laid on; removing them can destroy the eggs. If they were laid on the glass you can tape a clear plastic cup over them to protect them. If they were laid on a piece of furniture that can be removed then you can incubate the whole thing.

Actually Chris you cannot remove the eggs once they are laid because they are adhered to objects in the setup. They are hard eggs and are ok to be left in the tank or removed......your choice. But keep in mind that the parents may or may not eat the babies once they hatch.

ya they are stuck I'm thinking about covering them since they are right in the top corner of the tank just so that when they hatch they aren't eaten. Mourning geckos are asexual right? I just want to be 100% sure. The guy who sold him/her to me seemed like he was only telling me what I wanted to hear. But with his prices who cares. High crimson day geckos for $20 :D.
