ya sometimes they are like light brown

I believe if they're lightish brown, they should be fertilized. What usually happens when you tumble the eggs? Do they develop fungus? Are you tumbling the eggs hard or soft? That could effect the development of the eggs to fry.

Soft but some come to the top of the tumbler and get fungus for some reason...

I never strip my cyps. I catch the females at night from the main tank and move them to a seperate tank to spit. I keep an eye on the females mouth and once the fry don't show any egg sack remaining you are good to catch and move them without worry of losing too many fry. I average around 12 fry per female using this method.

I just stripped my paracyps. I let the female hold for 3 weeks and I managed to get 7 fry. I would let the female hold and strip CAREFULLY.
