Ahh sorry I meant blue gene, as in a common dempsey carrying the ebjd gene recessively. So this whole spawn will be blue gene dempsey.

So far no fry... Woke up this a.m. and checked first thing. No hatchlings?! I read it takes 20-30hrs to hatch. Is that correct? There are no added infertile eggs (white), still about the same amount.

it takes about 3 days for the eggs to become wrigglers if they dont turn white .. i acualy just had a spawn with my rtm x red islates hybrids about 2 weeks ago and the are now free swimming..

3 days. excellent. this is only day 2. I'll keep watching and keep posting. Congrats on your fry. Can we see some pics? thanks for the info everyone.
