Did someone want to see pics?!? :naughty:

Thanks Gerry! Appreciate that, my shots of him were terrible! I didn't even keep any of them!

What happened to the fry? I thought they spawned.

This guy belongs to Spencer Jack (The aFISHionados - new vendor here - shameless plug ) those shots were taken in March of 2008. There are fry from this guy and a tiny female here in winnipeg, they range from 1" to almost 3" in the same spawn!

OMG - what a brute. What size tank is he in? How big total length? What do you feed him?

In that shot, he was in a show, the tank is a 48" x 24" x 24" - 120 gal. He is a picky eater compared to Gerry's brute, he will only take frozen Krill

For reference, the box he is in above is a standard fish box, a bit over 18" long inside, he was on an angle and his tail was still folded against the end of the styro, as for height, his belly was on the bottom and he was laying on his side a bit and his back was nearly the height of the styro. . . :headbang2

Thanks for all the comments. Like I said above, I will try to get him in his new 180 with the little lady in the next week or so. Maybe I can convince Gerry to come and shoot some pics with me :naughty:

It was certainly a "soggy" adventure :) I suggest getting your hands on a couple styro fish boxes and "full box" sized bags, I held the bag open and he pushed him in there. It took both of us to lift him out of the tank with all the water!

Awesome pics Gerry and amazing fish!

Sweet cant wait to see that beast in the tank.
