That surfline is killer.. amazing looking.. love the full tank shot.

Thanks!! I'll try to get some better exposures of the tank with the stand.

It's a tank with the front shaped like an "S". If you look at the bottom of the stand the tank follows the same line:)

how do you get the (black abyss) looks in the back ground. light positioning?

Yep. Get the light on the fish brighter than the light on the back (black background helps). When the camera is set right it will expose the fish but not the background. I had to Pshop some floating "crap" and calcium build ups out, but for the most part it was black to begin with.

Thats what I thought!! I've seen that type of tank at least twice before...lol. How is it for water circulation and what not? Any dead spots?

BTW 4th pic down.. what kind of cichlid?

I'm using an XP3 for filtration (HISS). I don't really like it, but it's quiet so it fits the living room. Surprisingly, I have no dead spots. I just have to aim the flow to the surface for agitation.

Livingstoni. You should see him when he gets really blue:)

Aye, XP3's suck for agitation and what not. Just getta Aquaclear 110 in there! I took your advice by the way, working great! Might add a powerhead though...;). Gotta special type of powerhead in mind, they are very cool! ;)

Believe it or not, I used to keep livingstoni and compressceps. BOTH are gorgeous as adults, especially the males. The blue colors DEFINATELY do pop!
