Roommate and I got a couple pigs today in a quick hour of fishing this afternoon

Thus far I have had great luck with any sort of rattle trap lure. Attached a picture of my favorite
Haven't got out much the past week. Came down with the flu and now it's coming down to crunch time, plowing thru my savings gotta find a job ASAP lol.
Made it out for a few hours today on a cloudy day and hooked into a few nice ones. I'm the 3 pound range.
Also saw this jag posting up with its female in a nest and managed to get him to hit my lure. Was surprised by the fight. Strong fish

So today I finally caught the 5lb peacock I had been searching for.
