I usually put mine in Rubbermaid containers with tank buddies

I had to move 3 10 gallon tanks in the fall for the first time. I did it by draining a majority of the water out of all of them (Left the fish inside), and then just did it like that. All of the fish and plants survived!

I woudnt do that with any tank. Ive always emptied them completely and put fish into rubbermaids...tons of threads on this so try a search.

Ive done the across town move and moves that took hours..never lost a fish moving, just be as quick and stress free as you can

Really? I read that method in many places and it seemed to work fine for me, lol.

You read that you should move tanks with water n stuff still in it? Maybe for a 10 gallon.

I dont think youd find many ppl here who would/could move tanks with water and the amount needed for fish in it. Doesnt make any sense to me but
