soon i will b moven my dovii pair to a bigger home and i seen on here that clove oil will knock out the fish can i use that to slow him down alil to make life alil easier since he is like 16 inches a mean bassturd and will this affect the female from haven spawns do to move from tank to tank

long enough to empty out a 125 into a 220 so maybe like hr or two ima try to do the work as fast as i can but u know how u always run into stuff......
the holden container is a 30 gallon trash can that i use for my tank the male and female are goin in that w a airstone close the lid and phone ook it till i get my stuff situtated i dont have a contain big enough for 125 gallon of water so what i was thinking is put the 220 as close as poss. pump into the 220 move 125 pump back to 125 move 220 pump back i know this sounds like a pain in the arse but what do u do im allready goin to have to add 100 gallons of water to fill the tank or 75 gallons like i was doin a water change but until i get everything right they r goin in the trash can im thinking like 1-2 hrs longest thing is goin to b flippen the filtration to the 220
I wouldn't sedate them, especially if your planning on keeping them sedated while they are in the holding tank, the only reason i say this is because over on another forum which deals in puffers, there was a lot of debate about clove oil and sedating fish, and most people who used it, wouldn't use it to knock their fish out for more than a few min, normally 5min. MAX...
