Did you see that episode of Outer limits where a lady went to the past to stop Hitler? She went back to when he was a baby, she became his nanny and was planning on killing him, but decided to swap him with another baby. She then returned to her time to find that nothing had changed. As it turned out, the other baby was really the Hitler that controlled Germany. Thus she was the one that caused it.
the lady should've just killed the baby then. I wonder what would've happened then?
now that I think of it, I guess in some movies, even in Terminator, you can't change the outcome. No matter how much you go back in time, like to prevent a death, like in the movie Time Machine, it happens anyways in another way. so it didn't matter who Jon Connar's dad was, he will still be the guy to save mankind
but then, if that was the case, why send anyone back in time to try to change anything if it won't make a difference?
