As an action movie fan I'll give Bourne a look.

sometime in July it was reported that whatever they were doing for the next Indy movie had broken off and they are most likely done for good.

I really enjoyed the Bourne Series, IMO one of the best ever Action/Thriller movies ever (probably second to Ronin)... I have mixed feelings about them moving away from Damon as the star (it was kinda time), but I'm really pissed that they're making it all sci-fi with DNA modification/super-soldier BS, it was much much better when it was just a Bad A** assassin with nothing but his training and wits...
 
Bourne series was one of my favorites ever
 
I never got into the Bourne movies. Matt Damon just never did it for me. Can I catch them on Netflix?

If I can I'll give it a chance since I always hear good things about it.

I felt the same way until a year ago when I saw one of them on HBO, I liked it so much I didn't even wait until it was over to add the other 2 to my Netflix que.
