Kept on track and started filling Thursday night was full and running by Friday night.
Cut the plant from my planted tank. It grows like wildfire so even if it gets torn up it didn't cost anything besides growth time. Waiting on the wood to become saturated so it sinks.
Simple drain setup, so far it'll handle whatever I decide to run my pump at. Right now its at 4 out of 6 on the power setting, getting good flow throughout the entire tank. I'm thinking I won't need any circulation pumps by using the dual duckbill outlet on the loc-line.
Had to put some grating on the top of the media as I expected it started to lift as I filled the sump.
BRS carbon reactor. I love these, never have to use media bags reach into the sump, takes full advantage of your chemical media and will fit just about any chemical media that you need.
BRS carbon reactor is fed by the MJ1200 in my sock chamber then returns into the bio media. It comes with the simple valve that will attach right up to the MJ1200 outlet.
Auto Aqua ATO. I really like the system so far, its really small the entire package pump and controller, it comes entirely complete with everything you need, and so far has worked perfectly in both day and night lighting situations. I've used the JBJ ATO with mechanical sensor before and lets just say they end up with a wet floor sooner or later.
ATO and water change reservoir. You can see the Auto Aqua ATO pump is extremely tiny compared to a MJ1200 but it does the job just fine. I have a 1/4" line directly from my RODI that I fill this with. Eventually I want to add a float valve to the 1/4" line on the tank like I have in my other settling tank so I don't have to switch around the lines or worry about it. I usually vac 2-3x weekly so I only do 20 gallon change outs.
They both fill the sump right into the bio chamber via the holder that came with the ATO.
Cycling with 2x Buenos Aires Tetra, we'll see if the setup holds bacteria.
What do you guys think so far?
