Looks good. I am surprised that eel hasnt devored the rest of the fish. Exspecialy if you had it in the 55 with them. And im no exspert on eels but arnt moray salt water fish?

The moray i have is supposed to be brackish water. I bought him from a friend who raised it from very small in all freshwater. It has been 3 years or so that the eel has been in fresh water and it thrives... Definitely the most voracious appetite in the tank. The rams are big enough/fast enough to hold their own, although I did lose a small clown loach... It just disappeared and I assume the moray is to blame...
So far I have had no problem between the fire eel and the loaches. He is buried under the gravel most of the time. There are 3 clown loaches in there now and about 25 neons..

Thanks for the input and comments!!! Keep em coming!!!:headbang2:headbang2

"Freshwater" Morays spend their young lives in freshwater, and as adults (mostly) live in almost full marine. I'd recommend acclimating him to brackish/marine, to make him happy. Just because an animal lives years in sub-standard conditions, does not mean it's thriving, and certainly does not indicate that organ failures, osmoregulation problems etc. are not present.
