Moving 180's... How much should I pay?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well just make sure who ever does it is insured and is not insanely priced

I can definitely do the insured part, like I said. But, since most movers move stuff from one home to another, or something, I'm having trouble figuring this one out, since it's really just 25 or 30 feet. Obviously, I don't want to pay what they'd charge to load the truck, drive, and unload the truck. So I don't want to be charged for something I'm not having them do!

I think you would be better off, money wise to see if you can find some young adults to help out. I lucked out and got the neigbors to help. 180 should be able to be moved with 4 people... i needed 8.

You would probably be looking at about $300 to get them moved. Most companies have a standard rate that they charge.

just go to the nearest mover and ask two or three guys if after work they would come and move it for 20 dollars each.

just call a few friends an offer them a few cold ones.... or ask a bunch of mexcians .. standing on the corners early in the morning.. out in nyc.. they would ask about 20 buxs each an a 6 pack afterwards..

Your a chick, so just throw on some tight jeans and a tight shirt and say pppplllllleeeeeaaaaassssseeeee can you help me move my 2 fish tanks in a real cute voice like all girls do when they want something and tell them you will have a few cold beers waiting for them and maybe even a few $$ and I'm sure you will find that they will be happy to help out.. Most people should be willing to help out I would think, if not screw them and find someone else.. Most people should look at it this way if they help you out, and if they ever need help with something then you owe them one and will have to help them out someday..
