Hey guys,
I just got moved into my new house so I ordered a 240g stand/canopy from glass cages, the trucking company could not figure out how to get it off the back of the 18 wheeler they put it on so now its stuck in kearny NJ at thier warehouse. Anyone know a local moving company in northern NJ that can deliver this sucker for me..

tx...

What trucking company?

Most should have this, but call the trucking company and tell them you need to have them deliver it on a truck with a lift gate.

yeah, I'm curious who the trucking company is too...

My glasscages tank should be here this week, and I had to pay a little extra for a truck w/ a liftgate to avoid this situation. I'm hoping it works out.

Thats the problem they dont have a lift gate big enough to unload it, they will have to pay for the local moving company I was just wondering if anyone in the area has used someone they can recommend. I am even having a problem finding someone to come move it from my garage to my living room when it does get deliverd.

R+L carriers, And i too requested a delivery company that knew what they were doing and paid more for it....

DXDX your in Jersy also hope you dont have R+L

R + L is a good carrier, I wouldn't imagine them not having trucks with a lift gate.

I know my brother who moved last year found a uhaul truck that had a lift gate on it. Could always rent one of them for cheap and go over to their warehouse and have them load it for you.

It is R&L.... I guess I have to wait and see. I don't see how the lift gate couldn't be large enough. They said my 300g tank would be 650lbs, and I've had deliveries in the past (not aquariums) that were about 900lbs, using a lift gate with no problem.

I've put 2255lb on a lift gate before - this was with a UPS Freight truck mind you but R+L should have the same type of equipment.
