Im in the process of moving all my tanks from my bedroom to the basement. Its turned out to be a good little project. First thing I had to do was clean out all the junk that has collected down there over the years:irked: I then had to move the fish from my room to temporary tanks in the basement. Next was to build a dual stacked stand for 2 55s and a stand for the 115 gallon. I also had to move 2 floor supports out wider so I could fit the 55s and the 200 gallon between them. I added a 3rd support to the middle. Im also going to be painting most of the areas around the tanks flat black. Here are some pics of the basement and stands so far.

Converted a 40gal long into a wet dry. Not yet 100% done, but you get the idea. Im also working on a DIY fluidized bed filter to beef up the bio filtering. Pics of that when I get it working

Included a better pic of the 115gallon

Other than some hard water deposits that tank doesn't really look dirty...

yes we have very hard water here.

I worked on the fish basement some more. I got the 2 55s stacked with my red devil and midas in them untill i get the 200 up. I alsoworked on the drain plumbing from the 55s and 115 to the W/D filter. Tomorrow I plan to finish all drain/overflow plumbing and the return.

i used some big rocks on the bottom and some clamps on both sides for the top.

Looks like a fun project to keep yourself occupied :D
