Sweet! Maybe it's just me but I'd put up a net or something over the top. Any fish can jump, esp. gar can get spooked at night.

You are 100% right. The gar jumped out of the tank a month ago. And now I use 8 mm acrylic sheets as lid to prevent any accident.
