Moving my flowerhorn

Hi everyone,I just wanted to update, I haven’t had the courage to move my baby yet. Lol I plan on moving him tomorrow night or Monday. I will be gone tomorrow and I have to be home to monitor him, yes that’s how nervous I am. I will be home with him all week to make sure he is ok.
I will post pictures of him in his new home, it’s not too interesting since he seems to move and destroy most of the things I have tried to put in the tank. I will put his weighted fake plants in the tank since he really likes to move them around all day long. Other than that I will have his sand from his current tank in there because he likes to dig and a couple large rocks that he likes to sleep behind. I don’t know how he will look in this new tank because there is a yellow wall behind the tank and the tank he is in now has red behind it. I like the deep red because he is a Thai silk so he looks good with that. I guess I just need to worry about getting him in his new home.

I moved him successfully Ok my husband did it. He is not settled in yet. I don’t think he knows what to do with all the room yet! Lol I will post pictures when he gets a little more comfortable I didn’t think he would grow as fast as he did so he was in a 55 gallon and now he is in his 140 gallon and it looks pretty empty. He did eat so I am pretty sure he is ok. I am hoping he gets a little more active in the bigger tank. Thank you all for your help. I had bought a large pool net many years ago, I soaked it in very hot water and cut off the plastic so it was just like a bag but a net instead of plastic. My husband said he didn’t freak out much at all Again thank you for helping me with my silly problem!

Here he is in his new tank Happy to report his kok didn’t shrink and he is swimming around happily with all the added space. He is also eating normally. So happy his move went smoothly Again thank you for the help.
