Moving small fish into a big tank - advice needed

Glad to hear the size shouldn't be a big issue. Would you keep them in the smaller tanks for longer than 2 weeks to avoid introducing any infection to the larger tank?

Hello; I have gotten away with 2 weeks QT. I have gotten away with no QT at all. I have also introduced problems into a healthy tank with short QT. Any more I tend to wait at least four weeks and sometimes more.
There are a few diseases that do not show up for many weeks, I think as many as eight. It will boil down to how long you can stand to wait. Two weeks is not that bad and years ago would have seemed plenty to me.
That the big tank is empty is also a plus. I do not know what is best but do what you can live with. Good luck

small fish to have trouble locating tiny fragments of food

Hello; One thing to try is to always place the food in the same part of the tank. That way once the fish find it my guess is they will check that spot again.
