When I moved I used a rubbermaid container and put a bubbler in it while I drained and removed the gravel. Once I had the tank loaded I loaded the fish without the bubbler and drove to the new place. Once there I plugged their bubbler back in and filled the tank back up.

I did this 4 times in 2 years and have never lost a fish.

oscars are a very tough fish in my experience. Hed probably make it 15min out of water (just kidding). rubbermade with a good lid filled with the water hes in right now and your fine.
