Im looking to move to a new place, but its a top floor apt. The problem with that is I might not beable to take my 65 with me due to the weight over 4 floors. :( what should i do to convince them to let me keep it? Tell them they are my service fish?

move to a new place or trash your tank. problem solved

Only a 65? A water bed weighs more!

yeah next time tell them a first floor if they dont have it go somewhere else. A large majority of the complexes I ve been to when looking I just tell them I have a fish tank (don't mention size) and they tell me first floor only and I say fine. If no first floor available I go elsewhere.

Wow ive never heard of this before. But a 65? That wouldnt be a problem. Maybe they are conserned about possible water damage.

Renters insurance. Show them your policy covers fish tank damage, they shouldn't have a problem with it after that.

Trashing the tank is not a option. Id like to eventually have a place where i could set up my 112. Girlfriends parents seem to think i can just get rid of it like that... hell no. But I will look at renters insurance I heard its pretty cheap.
