I have a question. I'm moving next month and will have a friend keep my fish for me. I'm wondering if I keep the gravel I'm my tank, how long week I have to let it cycle before I can adds my fish again?

It shouldn't be to long but you never know and you need to dechlorinate the water BEFORE you put it in because once the chlorine hits the BB the BB will die.

Just put the BB media in a few ziploc bags with some ammonia. That way you'll keep your bacteria alive and be you'll be cycled right away

Thanks. I was thinking there was a way to keep my bb to speed up the process but I just wasnt sure how.
