Alright, she is safely in her new tank! But the barb got stuck on the new so I cut some off with barbeque tongs and a razor blade. Should I worry or just wait for it to fall off?

Great. I'm not even going to attempt feeding for a few days...
I'm assuming its ok she has spent almost the whole time buried.
Also, the ammonia's up to .5. Should I let it run its course being that its a new tank or should I do a waterchange?
