Thats good haha...As long as you know you will be able to provide a large tank for Ck in the near future, then i have to tell you ...you will never regret having one again..and ghost is great too..but i really think the ghost does better when they have no or only a few tank mates..other wise they hide all the time and sometimes wither away because they do not get enough food.. mine is always out and eats great.. i learned after having one in a community tank.. too much action for him and he eventually wasted away.. :(

I had my last CK in a Cichlid community tank and all was going well for 3-4 months then one night he decided he would eat everyone. I had to get rid of him after that.

yes thats why i think i will keep him by himself.. put him in my monster tanks and he may be the victim and put him with others in community tanks etc and he would revert back to his live fish appetite.. {it took me a while to get him off live fish onto pellets ...} They have a great appetite...

Sounds like a good excuse to start that monster tank build. Or glass off a spare room.

nice CK!!!!! he would be a good tankmate for your Silver arowana for a while in the bigger tank.

Thank you..thought about that but then decided not to do it.. arow has been good for 4 years... once in awhile gets moody.. i am afraid to upset him after all this time with a new fish.. i don't want him to get in the jumping mood:( ...lost one that way.. and the tank has Adonis and pleco and synodontis in with him.. and they all get along well.. scared to rock the boat.. so i will get a bigger tank and then a bigger tank and maybe add some thing into the CK tank..
