The Mrs. has given me the green light. I have been given permission to build a custom aquarium and I have a wall with a sloped ceiling 8' to 12' that I can build against. I'm allowed for the whole structure to extend out 24" from the base of the wall. The length of the wall is 10.5 feet. Condition: It must be floor to ceiling.
I was initially thinking about an aquarium with a front facing view glass of 8'L by 3'H. But now that she has insisted on taking the structure to the ceiling, I'm considering perhaps a 8' by 4' glass and only filling to the 3' mark and making the top portion a visable waterline where blooming aqua plants can be seen and perhaps keep some tropical frogs that would like the humid area and plant it with appropriate plants.
This is my idea at anyrate. Given the same oppertunity to do whatever, what would you do?
