sweet florida gar! some pics of the top of the mystery gars should help us give you a positive ID, but as for now it's pretty safe to assume they're floridas. how's the aggressive cichlid and gar mix going? and also please please please let me know how the trop and armatus go. how big is the latter btw?

I can safely say they are florida/spotted gars.. won't for sure know till bigger...

As for the cichlid and trop, no problems, other than moving the trop if he gets near his cave, the armatus and gar work really well suprisingly, when I first droped the armatus in, the gar took a bite at it, but now they chill together with no problems, gar just sits around all day...

LOL i think i could do anything to get my hands on a couple of fish. what do you have in mind? water changes? :D :nilly:
