That didn't work for me. Dad passed at 73, then mom swelled up to about 300 lbs and we had to put her in a home with big burly attendants. We could not take care of her, physically.

"glass bangers" were common place here not too long ago.....no reason to not enjoy that part of the hobby...within reason of course. 1 glass banger per tank is more than fine if u know what ur doing. keep what u like despite todays nay sayers and enjoy it.

I don't think there are any nay sayers to glass bangers. Just people aware of how big a tank they need.

I eventually put mine in an acrylic tank. That glass was looking thin!
