when there full aquatic ud put em in a tank full water tropical fish temp 76-80 ciclide pellets will do worms fish shrimp when they change u have to make kind a beach entry like a basking spot minus the heat bulb thing cause there skin drys easy

axotils dont change they stay fully aquatic till they die of old age the local petstore here has had 3 axotils for years and they are still in a full aquarium..you had a hellbender i think...they are full aquatic then they change.
