Mud skippers are fun- I had 2 dwarf skippys for a long time in a 20L. At first I had it as a beach set up, and they didnt use the water much, so I switched to stacked rocks. I ended up with 2 males and this seemed to suit them best because they could inhabit thier own slate piece; driftwood is also nice. Mine loved bloodworms, but their favorite was flighless fruit flies, weevles and house flies (dewinged). I had a Green Spotted Puffer living the the water with a couple of zebra danios and later 2 skunk botias (snail infestation)
