its around 5 in he seems teratorial he denys large crickets jest kill them and throws them in his water and im setting up a 40 breeder for him and maby some others im going to test my luck but ty for helping the guy at the stoor had no idea what he was when i went back yesterday and asked he sed that he remembered it had some kind of latin name and didnt know what it was

Periophthalmas barbarus ? That's the african ones. 40 breeder would be good .make sure nothing u decorate with had sharp edges or you end up with a blind muddskipper. One of mine cute his eye open on a old piece of coral I had in tank. Lost his eye from it

ya i never thought of putting anything sharp i wanted some plants and stuff in thare using sand and maby a waterfall like for frogs or something make it look kinda tropical lol but knowing me ill jest plant it up

You're keeping it in brackish water rite? mangroves and jave ferns did well in my skipper set ups. Have you done a search here theres one member that has a killer planted waterfall tank with asian mudskippers.

ohhhh i gota look more on here and i have a mangrove in thare right now its getting bigger but that would be really cool to have

I have 3 mudskippers mixed with a black ghost knife some horsefaced loaches and 2 farawella cats. They all get along fine the only time they killed off any on my fish was when i tried breeding feeder guppies in their tank. but if you do get these they will almost always be out of the water and are very good at escaping.
