Mudskippers

Thats a neat tank. I like the 'magroveyness', as opposed to the gravel and driftwood approach I saw at the LFS.

Can you reliably keep the fiddlers with skippers together? Anything else that they can go with?

Ive seen them with archers.

Any brackish fish they cant eat/cant eat them. But keeping in mind mudskippers dont need that much water, you will have to accommodate to fully aquatic fish.

Fiddler and red claw crabs are generally harmless...you could even get all females as they have tiny claws opposed to the males with that one huge one.

What do they eat? Do they eat in our out of water?

i had mine for a couple of years.. he was so cute.. i used a float made from strofoam... and he would lay on it and sun bathe... he loved blood worms and tiny cichlid pellets... they are very cute... i had him by himself in a species tank... he got injured on a rock from jumping and he died... so be careful of any sharp rocks etc..

Can they be acclimated to fully salt water or vice versa? Just wondering not saying I would do such a thing as it is always with the best interest of the fish with me.;)

no..i never heard of that... just light brackish..

You might be interested to know that they are highly evolved Gobies. The Mudskipper family is a subfamily of Gobiidae. I netted a Goby in Florida. I put him on the seat in the dinghy, and he did just what I thought he would do. He slithered like a Snakehead! Gobies just take it one step further.
