multi pleco aquariums

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
currently have L46s, L66s, and L134s sharing one tank

another tank has L29s, L30s, L264s and L47s, and L104s as a grow out tank- I might get rid of some Ls entirely and try to bring in the L397s if I ever manage to get my hands on any.

i curreently have 2 green phantoms l200, 1 bruno l137, 3 dull eye royals l191, 2 xingu royals l027c, 1 albino long fin, 1 para l075, all in a 55gal grow out tank. i also have 3 watermelon royals l330, 1 papa panaque l090, and 1 thunderline royal l027sp in a 125gal tank. just waiting to get a goldline and any other type of panaque, so that i can make an all panaque pleco tank.

thank you everybody for your input and thank you eyft23 for your awesome pix. it seems like the 90-125g seems to be the favorite size tank for you guys so im gonna look into setting up another. unfortunately, i have my common still and i hate giving up fish, so i'll probably be stuck with him for the next 10 years. oh well!

L104 and Dwarf BN living together just fine. Had a Royal and L333 in the mix w/no problems.

no problem. if you hate giving up fish, then i recommend setting up a 125gal tank. just because some of the plecos grow kinda big and you dont want to overstock them. they just produce tooooo much waste and just remeber to overfiltrate your tank.
