Can multiple ABK coexist peacefully? I've read some cases of success on this forum, but is it because of luck or can they be put together without aggression consistently?

Yes. Need lots of hiding spots and plants.

Mine lived in peace for a while, this did go downhill when one died. I suspect it upset the order somehow? Unfortunately it'll be a while till I try them again but a big group definitely gets along :D

Would it be possible to keep more than one in a densely planted 55 gallon? If so, how many?
I've kept smaller cichlids such as geophagus and angelfish. Is their aggression similar?
