i dont know much about Jars, so when a friend asked, i figured i'd post on here ;) ...

can you keep multiple Jars in the same (large) tank?
and also, if his is only 4-5", would adding a 8-10" be a bad idea?

thanks !

all i know is that they are super aggro so i wouldnt recommend it, especially with that size difference

^ true dat

i had 2 jardini together once, but those are rare!! I don't recommend it! mixing 2 of the same size is bad enough, but a large and a small, not a good idea.

all depends on the fish....but be ready to separate...quickly...

it is absolutely possible.

Of course it is possible, it works in the wild doesnt it? Its also possible to win the lottery, or survive a 10000' fall from a plane with no parachute.

You need either an enormous (like public aquarium sized) tank, or a freakishly placid bunch of jardinis and a very big tank.
