no, ammonia is a test all in its own. It should be part of any saltwater/freshwater test kit.

go to your LFS and get a saltwater master test kit. Get the liquid kind, Much better. Make sure ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and at least PH are part of the kit.

I would also ditch the test strips....these are no where near accurate enough for testing a marine system in my opinion....The difference that these can show can be potentially dangerous....

very true reef scape. Come to think of my earlier post, it may be more beneficial to order a kit. I would get the best kit your money can afford.
