Big water changes or maybe there is a chemical way to take the tannins out the water.

lol i tried and it kept calling me
i've been doing like 60% w/c for the last few weeks, it clears up for 2 days then its back again

it all depends on how you look at it. the tannins aren't going to hurt anything and they actually make some tanks look more natural. if you're keeping SA cichlids like in u'r avatar then they're natural water actually looks like a dark tea from all the trees and vegetation that falls into the water. gl

I've heard carbon can help remove the tannins.

I think the wood may quit turning the water....Take the wood out or live with the "tea look" ?
