Muscle milk anyone?

Both my kick boxing, and personal trainers suggested muscle milk for me to take.
Now, I've done some reasearch on this, and prefer it over kriatine. I'm not gona argue with them because one of the trainers was in the worlds strong man competition lifting 650lbs, and hes only 215lbs. the other was a soccer player in europe for 7 years, so they know what there talking about.

Just want some feed back from who ever has tried the stuff, they gave me 2.5 lbs of cookies and cream muscle milk, but didnt tell me how many times a day to use it. considering I have to have 5-6 meals a day, and work out 5 times a week.

so, any one have feedback on this stuff?

and how many times a day should I take it?

150lbs before working out. 3 days of working out and i'm at 154. I normmaly hit around 160 and stay there when I work out. But.

to be safe lets say 155lbs.

Yikes, how long have you been on this workout routine?
 
Just started about a week or two ago.

havnt used the muscle milk, but used to use other stuff about a year or two ago.

monday-friday I workout,

monday,wend,friday are weights ( with 20 min of warmup running, or walking )

tuesday and thursday are slow days, but are about 40 mins of running, so cardio?

I love creatine, never tried muscle milk thou...

If you are just starting out, you should take before and after pictures! Helps as a motivational factor.

What do you trainers say about creatine?
 
i took creatine when I was younger, its all water weight they say ( something like that ).

they said this stuff is much better, and much better for you than creatine.

I worked out for 2 years 9-10th grade, but stopped for about a year or so.

getting back into things, so I'm doing pics, seeing my body fat, the whole 9 yards.
 
muscle milk is cool but it has quite a bit of fat compared to most wp's (18g a serving i think.) If your trying to put on some size and your metabolsim is still fast it wont really matter to much. I would try and supp at least 150 g of protein from the muscle milk a day on top of meals. I would not take them as a MRP (meal replacement) i would take them along with a meal. Also take them with milk every serving except post workout. This will add a few extra grams of protein and some extra calories.
