Muscle milk anyone?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I dont wana get huge like a body builder, I just wana get ripped.

So I figured 160-170 is about how much I will weight once I'm ripped. My trainers say they can get me ripped and big like the guys from the move "300" in a month or two.... Dont wana be that huge O.o

lol

and yes it has 18g

yeah i can dig it summerson the way. I am a bodybuilder so i usually bulk, cut and repeat. If your doing a clean gain or bulk i usually shoot for 3-5 lbs a month. Good luck bro just keep hittin it hard.

I don't think you need to take muscle milk to get ripped. Heck, you don't need it to get strong either. How easily do you gain muscle? Some people have a harder time than others. I would say don't do it, but I am 6'2", 240 lbs (not fat), and have never taken a supplement

I gain muscle pretty well, but its mostly in my chest, back, and legs.

abs are the hardest for me to get cut, everything else is easier.

cookies and cream muscle milk is so good, drinking some now.

lol

You don't need it. Assuming you're eating correctly (1.5g of protein and 17-18 calories per pound of bodyweight) you'll be okay. If anything, I would recommend a good multivitamin (Animal Pak and Optimen are both great) and protein supplement (they're all the same, IMO. I use Optimum Nutrition).

BTW your expectations are way high if you think you can transform into someone from 300 in a month. Without knowing your base, I would guesstimate it would take YEARS. I've been working out seriously for just about a year now and have gained 40lbs and believe me, it doesn't come easy, especially as a natural.

no no no, these guys said the could get me like that. I didnt say it.

its 350$ a month, and I have to come for an hour every other day. + kick boxing. I'm pretty sure I dont need the muscle milk, but Who knows it might help..

it does help because all a shake does is give you a boost in protein/carb intake, given that you are eating well too.

It's real simple.

Diet. Diet. Diet.

You get that right and the workout matters very little...as long as you lift heavy.

Don't worry you will never get big like a bodybuilder...unless you are doing the things that they are doing which includes more then muscle milk.

1 gram of protein a day per lean pound of body mass.

1 gallon of water everyday at a minimum.

ONLY two shakes a day. (I prefer one for breakfast and one post workout. I like to include dextrose in my post workout but thats a personal preference.)

Chicken Breast, Fish, Chicken, Fish, Turkey, Chicken Breast.

Eat a hypo-caloric food at night such as green beans or cabbage.

Throw in red potatoes or sweet potatoes...

You will see some results.

But if I only weighed a buck fifty...I would eat my butt off and hit the gym like a mad man. You probably have a high metabolism and just need to stoke the fire with good calories.

(I have been working out 15 years and have seen literally thousands of 150 lb guys wanting to get cut or get big on the latest gimmick. Two things that I have found that work...Creatine and protein. The other thing is called "hard d#$% work")

My trainers, train me to the point where I either vomit, or I cant move lol. Its hard.
