music and fish......

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All of my fish hate R&B, hip hop, rap, etc. They'll hide when it comes on the tv or if someone is blasting it out their car stereo in the parking lot. My fish are really partial to classical for some reason, and then they like whatever I happen to play on my guitar or violin. Other stuff they don't care about. Maybe fish do have a "taste" for certain kinds of music. Or maybe they just happen to be doing stuff and we just think it's because the music's playing. But to me, it does at least sort of seem like they like it.

all very interesting...... !!!

Maybe I should try playing something sensuous to my useless non-breeding Kribs! :D

As my bichir growout is on my desk and is flanked by a pair of speakers and a woofer, he gets to listen to whatever I listen to. This varies from punk rock to musicals. He seems to eat best with Beethoven's Moonlight Sonnata.

Whenever I play music really loud, my bala sharks goe crazy. They're the most skittish fish I've ever seen.

My big fish love music. The little ones swim faster. I belive they feel the vibrations. Just like going to a great concert and feeling the beat in your chest.
