I'm sure you've all seen Arapaimag 50000 gallon tank thread and youtube video, and I have to say the music in his video was perfect. Cake - comfort eagle I love that song and it fit really well. Even though it wasn't really a video more a montage of pictures. I guess it depends on the fish and the music. I seen a video of an Aus native tank with Nickelback music. Nickelback! 
I always have music playing when watching fish vids. I watch all fish videos muted, unless they're playing a track I enjoy. Also, if I hear filter crap in the video I quickly mute and resume my music which was previously playing. Anything like the annoying bubbles, falling water, babies crying, dogs barking, crickets chirping, background talking, people farting etc. causes me to hit the mute and resume my tracks... In my own fish vids I use music, but if I am in a rush I don't have enough time and end up just silencing the audio. I will dare not capture the raw sounds of my fish room lmao.

I can NOT STAND that STUPID song Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. EVERY FISH VIDEO. It is TO repetitive. Also HEAVY METAL SOUNDS LIKE SOMEBODY THROWING UP WTF?!?!?!?!?! There are few quality videos with quality music out there these days.

I like the new age style music in videos and put them in mine. You can not hear any filters on my tank and my thinking like several here have said if you don't like it you can just hit mute.
