Cool share! I love those pikes...beautiful.

Not a zebra pleco though... likely L168. I have one at my store actually haha.

Oh...anyone have any idea on the spotted fish to the right at 3:08? My first thought was "Checkerboard Cichlid"?

The checkerboard is the Dicrossus Ryan and I were talking about. I am not sure which species though, looks like a D. Filamentosus to me.

Wild Satanoperca Daemon  Also, does anyone know what type of moss that is growing? I am not a plant guy. Is that wild java moss? It's really cool looking IMO.

im pretty sure its algae. wide shallow streams/rivers that receive a lot of direct sunlight get that. we were doing water quality sampling in a larger stream here in GA and it was everywhere

I wish I could grow algae like that. My 125 gets direct sunlight and only grows hard green algae, nothing neat looking like that..

Thanks for sharing!

Plenty of fantastic vids on AquaTV, perfect for Biotope research - if you haven't already seen it, the interview with Weidner shows his fishroom and setups, all wonderful quality.

I wish I understood what they were saying. He's got some gorgeous fish. The Uaru look like sp. 'orange' because the black blotch doesn't run all the way through the caudal peduncle. He was raising Krobia fry, but did the video say if he acquired them or bred them himself? If it's the latter, I would have liked to see the parents.
