Argentina
Hi, I just wanted to share this link on a fish found in Chaco, Argentina.

http://www.subdivx.com/X12X7X84971X0X0X1X-hallan-pez-monstruo-en-el-chaco.html

Its in spanish so ill briefly translate it. The link is just to look at the picture.
The fish was fished in Villa Angela in El Chaco, it weights approx. 5 kilos (13ish pounds, I dont feel like pulling out a calcultor so thats my quick math saying 13). The group of teenagers that fished out the fish said that it screeched and yelled as an animal would when they were realling it in. Once out of the water the fish wrapped around the fishers arm when they were able to pull it off his arm and beat it til death with a stick. It has a tongue, scales, and does not have a well developed head. It was sent to buenos aries to see if it was natures actions that made this fish or if it was something caused by a human. Thats about it.

Goes to show you that you shouldn't dump things into a river.

Ummm interesting...

Looks like a messed up lungfish to me.

That's got to be one the craziest fish story/picture I have ever seen. I wish I could read the whole article but can't read spanish. Do you know if there's an english version of this?

I havent found one yet. I searched a bit but didn't find anything. Currently, what i wrote is pretty much all it says there. The fish is currently going under test to see if it was natural selection and gene mutations that caused it, or if it was pollution and these sorts of things. Once the info comes out, ill b sure to post it here.

I think lungfish with a buttload of exageration on the locals part
